A mid 19th century gold garnet and enamel pendant. The foil-back oval garnet cabochon trefoil, with overlaid replacement blue enamel floral and foliate detail, to the floral engraved surmount. Length 4.8cms. Weight 13.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age.
- Vacant glazed panel to reverse.
- Garnets well matched.
- Garnets dark slightly purplish-red, well saturated, with typical inclusions under magnification.
- One garnet shows a more obvious inclusion to the naked eye.
- Enamel shows some chips, with small portions deficient.
