Condition Report

Two items of Georgian gold mourning jewellery. To include a woven hair panel and black paste ring engraved 'C.P. Galabin Ob 16 April 1812 at 38', together with a woven hair panel and black enamel brooch engraved 'Sam Blount died 22 Sept 1826 aged 67'. Length of brooch 2.1cms. Total weight 7.9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age and general wear. Brooch with patch of discolouration to the reverse. Significant fracture and nicks to the black enamel. Two black pastes significantly chipped, the others in fair condition with significant surface abrasion and wear. Evidence of resizing.
