Condition Report

An emerald and diamond three-stone ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, with brilliant-cut diamond sides. Estimated dimensions of emerald 10.5 by 8.8 by 4.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, J-K colour, P1-P2 clarity. Ring size U. Weight 5.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Setting of emerald uneven.

  • Diamonds very slightly loose in the setting.

  • Emerald patchy whitish to medium yellowish-green, well saturated, with profuse inclusions that significantly affect the passage of light through the stone.

  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Fairly large light coloured inclusions can be seen with the naked-eye, some of which are surface reaching and may result in future durability issues.

  • Emerald in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 18ct.
