A star sapphire and ruby bar brooch. The star sapphire collet, with vari-shape ruby scalloped surround, to the plain bar sides. One ruby deficient. Diameter of star sapphire 15 by 15 by 12mms. Length of brooch 6.2cms. Weight 11.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Brooch shows evidence of alteration.
- Sapphire has greyish-blue hue with strong banding across the stone.
- Sapphire in good condition with minor surface nicks.
- Rubies in good to fair condition with some abrasions and minor nibbles to the girdle and facets edges.
- Length of cluster 2.2cms.
