Victorian garnet brooch and a vinaigrette.

Condition Report

A Victorian garnet set brooch, circa 1880 the central cushion shape garnet is in a claw setting surrounded by four spaced split pearls, a scroll design border with woven hair panel to reverse, also a Victorian silver vinaigrette. Vinaigrette hallmarks for Birmingham 1871.

Purchasing information
    Both items are in fair condition. There is a chip to the outer facets of the garnet in the brooch, one split pearl has cracked, there are dents and areas of discolouration to the outer hollow border. The pin has been replaced and is too long. The vinaigrette is tarnished and the hallmark is worn places and difficult to read.
