A pair of early 20th century diamond and onyx

Condition Report

A pair of early 20th century diamond and onyx dress studs, circular shaped and collet set a central old European cut diamond surrounded by a circular onyx panel border with hinged back fittings. Estimated total diamond weight - 0.12cts. Diameter of dress studs - 9.5mm. With box.

Purchasing information
    The dress studs are in fair condition. There is quite serious abrasion to the back of both of the dress studs, it appears that the metal has possible been acid tested and then the mark has been removed by filing. The diamonds are both nice and bright, the collet settings may need checking, the onyx is in good condition. There is some abrasion again to the bottom of the hinge fittings. The box is not fitted, there are scratches to the leather casing.
