Georgian diamond cluster ring with central

Condition Report

Late 18th century diamond cluster ring with central european cut surrounded by three further circular old cut diamond borders, all in closed back setting and mounted in white metal, probably silver (possibly a button restyled as a ring).

Purchasing information
    In good general condition considering believed age of piece. White metal unmarked but believed to be silver. Shank of ring showing some marking, scratches and evidence of metal testing. Closed back setting of diamond cluster quite marked and discoloured. Diamonds bright and fairly lively in particular the centre stone, which is a better colour than the rest. One small diamond is missing from the outer border and one or two showing some abrasion or chipping to external facets. Ring size UK R, US 8.75.
