A late 19th Century Russian 14k gold oval carved

Condition Report

A late 19th Century Russian gold oval reverse crystal intaglio brooch depicting a basket of flowers, the oval crystal panel is painted to the reverse with mother of pearl backing. Pin stamped 56. Makers mark possibly Carl Faberge or Karl Fend (Fent). Length - 2.9cms, width - 1.8cms.

Purchasing information
    The brooch is in good condition. There are general scratches to the back of the brooch, wear and tear. The marks to the pin are nice and clear. The makers mark could be either be Carl Faberge or Karl Fend (Fent), reference the book Russian Silversmith Hallmarks 1700 - 1917 by Geoffrey Watts, Page 146. There is some slight discolouration to the backing of the crystal and slight scratches to the panel.
