A pair of shell form dishes 1922

Condition Report

A pair of shell form dishes with scroll piercing, gadrooned rim, a cluster of sea shells mount the entwined arched mermaid handle, raised above three dolphin feet, hallmarked Lionel Alfred Crichton London 1922, maximum height measures 4 3/4 inches (12cm), combined weight 19ozt (604 grams).

Purchasing information
    In good overall condition, with general scratches, marks and tarnishing also with some remnants of old polish, the joins of the top half of both handles are visible, the back foot to both has risen visible as a bump to the inside of the dish, more so to one than the other. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
