Condition Report

A late 19th century 9ct gold split pearl bangle. Of openwork design, the split pearl intertwined circles, to the split pearl bifurcated shoulders and plain half-bangle. One split pearl deficient. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Inner diameter 5.7cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Pearls creamy-white with rose and greenish overtones with surface imperfections and small chips to the nacre. Glue is visible in places. Discolouration to bangle. Weight 12.4gms. Hallmarks are not contemporary to piece and it is possible that the lower half of the bangle is a later replacement.
