A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch.

Condition Report

A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track, the ornately decorated case, Birmingham hallmarked possibly for 1876, with scroll and foliate decoration surrounding a vacant cartouche to rear, fitted with an unsigned gilt three quarter plate going barrel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 35mm. Total weight 42gms.

    18ct gold pocket watch, movement is functioning, dial has some marks and scratches visible but generally in fair condition, hands show some slight discolouration to the minutes hand and there are marks visible to both hands, glass is lightly scratched and there are marks visible, case has medium scratches from use and there is rubbing to the design to the edges of the case, hinges are in fair working order but case back does easily open, bow and pendant are rubbed. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any watches sold.
