Condition Report

An enamel and diamond snake brooch. Designed as a green and blue enamel coiled snake, with a single-cut diamond head set with an oval emerald cabochon and circular ruby cabochon eyes. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 6.5cms.

    Overall condition good. Light scratches in keeping with general wear. Enamel in overall good condition with some minor surface blemishes. Diamonds lively, bright and well matched. Rubies in good condition, brownish red with good saturation. Diameter 4.3mm. Emerald medium green, good saturation, natural internal inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Emerald 9mm by 7.5mm. Unhallmarked. Weight 48gms.
