A late 19th century sapphire five-stone ring. The graduated circular-shape sapphires to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Estimated total sapphire weight 2.50ct.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good. There are scuffs and scratches to the back of the band. The sapphires are well matched, they are a medium blue with patchy saturation of colour. There is angular colour zoning visible to the sapphires with the unaided eye, there are internal fractures to a couple of the sapphires visible with magnification. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphires visible with the unaided eye. Central sapphire estimated dimensions 5.8 by 5.8 by 3.33mm. Some of the claws are heavily worn and would need to be retipped, some claws have worn away and would need attention. Ring size K.
