Condition Report
Two garnet brooches, to include an oval cluster brooch, the central oval-cut garnet surrounded by graduated tiers of circular-cut garnets, together with a star-shape brooch set with circular and pear-cut garnets. Some garnets deficient from both brooches. Lengths 3 to 5cms.

Purchasing information-
Overall poor to fair condition, both would benefit form a clean, and both would benefit from the setting being checked. The oval cluster brooch has two garnets missing from the first tier, one missing from the second tier, and four of the very small garnets missing. The pin wobbles on its hinge but is in good working order, there is a safety chain attached. There is a chip to the very edge of the central oval garnet, and minor chips to the edges of some of the smaller garnets. The star shape brooch has three garnets deficient, there are a few minor nibbles to the garnets. There is a replacement pin, a panel has been added to solder the hinge onto, the pin is bent but in working order. There are scratches and tarnishing to the reverse of the brooch.
