Two small bonbon dishes & sweetmeat basket.

Condition Report

Edwardian silver swing handle sweetmeat basket stamped in high relief with stylised repeated motifs divided by pierced decoration, hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd Birmingham 1901. Together with a Victorian silver bonbon dish, hallmarked Chester 1894 and a further example made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths company. Gross combined weight 8.2 ozt (257 grams).

Purchasing information
    Overall the sweetmeat basket and bonbon dishes display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little more obvious wear to the delicate pierced areas on the sweetmeat dish. The second bonbon dish is hallmarked London 1917. The hallmarks are generally clear and legible, the makers mark to the sweetmeat basket is partly worn.
