George III silver open salt & modern condiment set.

Condition Report

A George III silver open salt of cauldron form, initial engraving, rope twist rim and raised above three hoof feet, hallmarked London 1776 with the makerÆs mark TS. Together with a modern three piece silver condiment set, hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd Birmingham 1952. Gross silver weight 4.6 ozt (142 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    All items display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Georgian open salt has a couple of minor dints, the feet have also caused an impression to the interior. The condiment set displays some areas of heavier wear, particularly to the rim of the open salt, one or two minor chips to the blue glass liners. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
