Edwardian silver mounted pair of candlesticks, each modelled as a classical column below a Corinthian style capital with a detachable concave nozzle with beaded rim, all raised above a stepped square filled base with conforming bead borders. Hallmarked London 1901, maker probably Charles Boyton (III). Height including nozzle measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm).

Purchasing information-
Both display general wear, some tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches. Remnants of polish and some seam lines visible. Some minor edge nicks and dints and more wear to edges and corners. One nozzle can be easily removed, the other is jammed in place. Some wear to the underside on both. Hallmarks to both bases are quite rubbed and distorted but just legible. Hallmark to the detachable nozzle is very clear.
