An early 20th century gold split pearl and paste brooch. The interwoven split pearl foliate lines and circular-shape red paste cluster, suspending three graduated red paste and split pearl drops. Length 4.2cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. At least two of the drops are later replacements/additions. There are small areas of dark discolouration and minor repairs to the piece. The red paste gems have small gas bubbles and minor-moderate abrasion. The split pearls are moderately well matched with a greyish hue, minor discolouration and abrasion. The safety chain may be a later addition. The pin wobbles slightly and does not lay securely within the clasp.
