A late 19th century gold ruby and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape ruby, to the old-cut diamond sides and scrolling foliate shoulders. Estimated ruby weight 0.35ct. Weight 3gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades though the diamonds do have small chips near the girdle. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The ruby is a deep purplish red hue with evidence of heat treatment and slight broken silk. The ruby is significantly abraded.The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
