An early 20th century gold turquoise and diamond ring.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold turquoise and diamond cluster ring. The oval turquoise cabochon, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the foliate shoulders and later replacement band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Weight 3.9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The turquoise/diamond cluster and shoulders date from the early 20th century, the band is a later replacement. Solder visible where the shoulders meet the replacement band. Turquoise pale to medium blue, good condition with minor abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers at the back of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered light and dark inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some are visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles, one has a small chip. Ring size L1/2. Unhallmarked. Weight 3.9gms.
