A late 19th century gold turquoise and split pearl pendant.

Condition Report

A late 19th century gold turquoise and split pearl pendant. The oval locket decorated with an oval turquoise cabochon and split pearl fleur-de-lys, with vacant back panel. Length 4.8cms. Weight 15.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. There are scratches to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. The turquoise varies in shade one with a more green tone, there is some black veining visible to the central turquoise. The split pearls are well matched, the nacre appears uneven to the central split pearl, some of the settings may need to be secured. The back glass and rim may possibly not be original to the piece as the rim is a different shade, there is an indentation to the rim. There are some dents to the suspender.
