An 18ct gold diamond brooch.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond within a star mount, to the openwork, scrolling acanthus and geometric cross surround, with bead detail. Estimated diamond weight 0.20ct. Diameter 4.1cms. Weight 13.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The safety chain is a later addition with base metal mount. The pin is a later replacement. There is discolouration to the reverse. Some of the beads are dented. There is a circular glazed panel to the reverse. The diamond appears bright, estimated J-K colour, SI clarity with small inclusions.
