Condition Report

An Edwardian 18ct gold garnet-topped-doublet and diamond ring. The rectangular-shape garnet-topped-doublet, with old-cut diamond spacers, to the scrolling gallery and shoulders. Hallmarks for Chester, 1903. Weight 3.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear and age of piece. The garnet topped doublet all show significant surface abrasion, with nibbles to most facet corner edges. Please see important notices for purchasers at the front of catalogue for coloured gemstones. The diamonds are bright, individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment. The claws in mount all require retipping, as some are worn. Ring size L.
