Condition Report

A selection of jewellery and other items, to include a late Victorian 15ct gold marquise-shape filigree brooch, a mid 20th century marcasite bracelet, a pair of marcasite and paste earrings, together with a pair of early 20th century binoculars and a fan. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1891. Length of brooch 4.3cms. Length of bracelet 18cms. Weight of hallmarked item 2.9gms.

Purchasing information
    In generally fair condition, all with light surface scratches and minor nicks in keeping with general wear. The marquise-shape late Victorian brooch is heavily tarnished and the pin and clasp is slightly bent but in working order. To the marcasite bracelet there is one deficient and one with a large chip, tarnishing to the reverse, clasp in working order. The earrings show minor nicks and the mounts show tarnishing. The fan is in good condition as its its box. To the binoculars, they would benefit from a clean, there is dust beneath the glass, tarnishing to the metal, focusing mechanism is in working order, there are some dints to the metal eye pieces. There is a heavily worn purse with this lot.
