Condition Report

A selection of marcasite jewellery, to include a marcasite and paste set watch, a horse and carriage clock brooch, a peacock brooch, various floral and scrolling design brooches and a late Victorian silver chain and further silver chain. (16) Two with marks to indicate silver. One with foreign marks.

Purchasing information
    Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches and minor nicks in keeping with general wear. The pieces are showing varying degrees of tarnishing. The watch movements are not currently working. All hinges and clasps are in working order. Four of the brooch pins are slightly bent, and some are possibly replacement pins. Ten of the brooches have three or less marcasites deficient.
