A late 19th century French gilt brass mounted white marble mantel clock, having a 3.25" Arabic dial with floral swag decoration, the two-train movement striking on a coiled gong, stamped 'Paris 2015, the case surmounted by a putto reclining with book and resting upon a pedestal with bird beside, over ribbon cresting cast acanthus swing handles and scroll ended side pilasters on an inverted break-front base with toupie feet, 12.25" (31cm) high, sold with pendulm

V shaped crack to dial at 2 o'clock, single crack at 10. Flaking at 9. Some tarnishing to gilding but overall sound.
