A mid 19th century oak and mahogany cased eight day longcase clock, signed and marked 'Thrapston', having a 12"(31cm) dial with black painted Roman numerals, the hood with arched glazed door flanked by reeded columns, the case with a short trunk door flanked by canted corners. The panelled base upon bracket style plinth 86.5" (219cm) tall

Case in poor condition with many damaged and missing areas of veneer, trunk door is split large moulding to underside of hood - loose. Dial heavily worn with chipped and heavily worn paint. Mechanism not known if working. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any clocks sold.
