Condition Report

A late 19th century gold diamond memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the old-cut diamond to the domed panel, within a rope-twist and bead double surround, with glazed hair panel reverse. Estimated diamond weight 0.20ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Length 3.7cms. Weight 13gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The clasp is a base metal modern replacement. The hair panel is slightly in disarray. General tarnish. The diamond shows scattered inclusions.
