Condition Report

A late Victorian silver collar and bangle, circa 1880, to include a pierced star design collar, with outer bead detail and a wide hinged bangle, with overlaid rope-twist detail. AF. Length of collar 47cms. Inner diameter of bangle 5.6cms. Weight 107.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to poor. The collar is broken and damaged in several areas, some of the star panels are vent and damaged with possible previous repair work, some spheres are dented and damaged, some are missing. There is greening in areas. There are significant shallow dents to the reverse of the bangle and some to the front panel, there are scratches and areas of distinct discolouration in areas. The clasp may need to be secured. Width of bangle 2.5cms.
