Condition Report

An early twentieth century silver comport, the detachable bowl with central painted Royal Worcester plaque depicting sailing boats, signed R. Rushton. Hallmarked Sanders & Mackenzie (Ernest Wilfred Sanders & Henry Arthur Mackenzie), Birmingham 1912. Height measuring 6 1/4 inches (15.5 cm).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. The base is loaded/filled. Maker's mark to the stand is rubbed. The knop on the base stem appears to have been repaired with solder visible, some deeper scratches also in this area.
