Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold seed pearl and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the old-cut diamond and split pearl flower, within a similarly gem-set scrolling surround. Length 3.2cms. Weight 9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 15ct. The bar to the reverse is bent, with wear to the gilt finish. Possible later safety chain. One of the diamonds and associated mount is deficient, The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. There are several split pearls deficient. The split pearls are a peachy hue.
