Condition Report

An early 20th century silver and 9ct gold ruby and diamond wreath brooch. The oval-shape rubies, set at intervals to the old-cut diamond double-row wreath. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. Diameter 2.7cms. Weight 5.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Some of the diamond point spacers are deficient. Wear to the gold reverse. Replacement clasp. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Scattered small inclusions, some surface reaching. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies have been re-tipped, possible replacements. The rubies are a deep slightly purplish red hue. Typical inclusions. Very minor abrasion.
