A late 19th century gold split pearl and enamel mourning pendant.

Condition Report

A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl and enamel mourning pendant. Of oval outline, the split pearl star and blue enamel centre, within a split pearl leaf and blue enamel surround, to the glazed panel reverse, suspended from a period gold plated chain. Length of pendant 3.2cms. Length of chain 45cms. Weight of pendant 12.4gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Length of pendant includes small loop surmount. Slight wear and discolouration to the chain. Replacement clasp, stamped 9k. Enamel in good condition with minor, shallow nicks and a small chip that does not reach though to the gold base. The split pearls appear well matched with varying overtones.
