Condition Report

A late Victorian silver and gold emerald and diamond cluster brooch. The rectangular-shape emerald and old-cut diamond cluster, within an old-cut diamond scrolling surround. Estimated emerald weight 5.20cts. Estimated total diamond weight 4.20cts, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 3.6cms. Weight 14.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The piece has received a high polish. Small soft solder repairs. Some claws re-tipped. The diamonds appear bright and moderately well matched, small scattered inclusions. Most individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Moderate abrasion. Emerald dimensions 12 by 10.5mms, by 5.7mms deep.
