Condition Report

A 1930s silver card case with diamond and emerald clasp. The rectangular-shape case, with ridged detail, to the single-cut diamond barrel push piece clasp and rectangular-shape emerald terminals. Maker's mark for Asprey & Co. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Import marks for London, 1937. Length 8cms. Weight 92.7gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the box is keeping with overall wear. The box is gilded, with areas of dirt and discolouration to the ridged detail. The diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The emeralds are fairly well matched, there are typical inclusions and areas of abrasion visible with magnification. The hallmark is clear.
