Condition Report

A Victorian large silver three pint mug of tapering form with foliate and fern engravings surrounding the vacant cartouche, silver-gilt interior, 'C' shaped handle and raised on a stepped circular foot. Hallmarked Henry John Lias, London 1877, numbered 3835. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm), weight 15.3 ozt (478 grams).

    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Gilding appears to have been re-done. The hallmarks are clear and legible. maker's mark partly worn.
