Condition Report

A late 19th century 15ct gold carved coral cameo brooch, the oval-shape coral, carved to depict a lady, within an oval-shape surround, to the engraved decoration and quarterly scalloped edges. Untested for natural colour. Length 2.5cms. Weight 3.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Some wear to the gilt surface. Some discolouration and tarnishing. Darker discolouration to the reverse around the catch. Coral orangish-pink, moderate colour saturation. Coral in fairly good condition with some surface wear and abrasion to the chin. Minor nibbles to the edge of the cameo.
