Two Scottish brooches.

Condition Report

Two Scottish brooches, the first of circular rope-twist design with mainly inlaid banded agate pieces and engraved decoration, the second of circular outline with raised central cross panel, inlaid with mainly agate. Five replacement resin sections. Diameters 5.7 and 3.9cms. Weight 36gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches, minor nicks and tarnishing throughout. The larger brooch has three replacement resin sections, and a replacement hinge and clasp. The smaller brooch has two replacement resin sections. There is soft solder to the reverse of the brooch were the central panel meets the back panel, there are a few deeper scratches to the reverse.
