Condition Report

A Scottish agate brooch, of shaped circular outline with various inlaid, polished agate pieces, together with an early 20th century 15ct gold ruby and seed pearl stickpin, of heart design. Diameter of brooch 3.7cms. Weight of stickpin 1.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall fair to good condition, with light surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The stickpin is stamped 15ct to the reverse of the heart, the pin may be a lower carat gold, the rubies and split pearls are well matched. The Scottish brooch shows some minor surface hairline cracks to two of the inlaid agate pieces, the outer edge of the agate settings is a little poorly finished, the reverse shows patches of tarnishing, the pin is in working order, there is a safety chain attached.
