An Edwardian silver basket with swing handle.

Condition Report

An Edwardian silver basket of spreading oblong form, having a shaped rim above a wide foliate pierced border and a further beaded border, with single swing handle and standing on four ball feet. Hallmarked Sheffield 1908, maker's mark possibly reads 'JLM'. Maximum length measures 10 5/8 inches (27 cm), weight 12.5 ozt (389 grams).

Purchasing information
    The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier patches and spots of tarnishing to some areas. Also some heavier scratches and marks are visible, especially to the underside. Some minor dints and bumps. However the overall condition appears okay. The swing handle is in good working order. The maker's mark on the main basket is very rubbed and indistinct. Other hallmarks are a little rubbed but legible.
