A George III silver cream jug.

Condition Report

A George III silver cream jug, the bellied form with beaded rim and handle, embossed with foliate scrolls upon a stippled background and surrounding the vacant cartouche. Hallmarked London 1799, the maker's mark TC tentatively attributed to Thomas Crippin. Maximum height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 3.3 ozt (104 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little rubbing and loss of definition. Tears to the rim either side of the handle. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark 'T' partly distorted.
