Condition Report

Two late 19th century gold mounted enamel brooches, each designed as an oval enamel panel with mother-of-pearl backs, depicting lovers within a rural landscape, to the bow, ribbon and plain mounts. One pin with French assay marks. Lengths 4.8 to 4.3cms. Total weight 25.2gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Mother of pearl cracked and secured with tape to the brooch depicting a man playing bagpipes. French assay mark to the pin of the bow surround brooch. Bow and ribbon surround slightly bent to sides. Enamel with some surface scratches.
