A late 19th century gold, split pearl and gem-set mourning brooch, the foil-backed paste, within a split pearl and black-gem double surround. Length 3.5cms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The black-gems are probable replacements. Two black gems deficient. The paste has significant abrasion. Engraved to the reverse "Helen M Mixter". Pin base metal replacement.
