Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold gem-set crescent brooch. The graduated green-gem line, with diamond point double spacers, to the openwork gallery. Hallmarks for Chester, partially rubbed. Length 5.2cms. Weight 3.1gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear dull with uneven surface, well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.03ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. At least some of the gems are garnet-topped-doublets. Minor-significant abrasion, some noticeable chips. Some likely replacement gems.
