A mid 20th century platinum and 18ct gold opal and diamond three-stone ring. The oval opal cabochon, with old-cut diamond sides, to the plain band. Opal AF. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, K-L colour, SI-P1 clarity. Weight 3.8gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair to poor. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The opal is in poor condition. Significant crazing throughout the opal, may break under stress. Opal also lightly abraded to the surface. The diamond detail is bright and lively, benefit from a good clean. Stamped plat 18ct. Ring size N. Inner sizing aid present.
