An early 20th century platinum diamond and sapphire dress ring. The old-cut diamond, within a pierced single-cut diamond surround, with calibre-cut sapphire accents, to the engraved shoulders and plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.60ct, H-I colour, VS clarity. Weight 3.7gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The principal diamond is bright and lively. Minor nibble to one facet edge. The sapphires are well matched. Due to the individual size and setting restrictions it is not possible to confirm natural origin of the sapphires. All stones appear secure, however settings will need attention due to age. The principal diamond claws have been re-tipped. Wear to band and engraved shoulders, in keeping with general wear and tear. Ring size I 1/2.
