An early 20th century 15ct gold locket and later 9ct gold chain.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold locket. The rectangular-shape locket, with initial monogram front panel and plain reverse, suspended from a later replacement 9ct gold chain. Chain with hallmarks for Sheffield. Length of locket 3.3cms. Length of chain 45cms. Total weight 13.4gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age/general wear. Minor indentations and some scratches to the locket panels. Some discolouration and scratches to the interior. Interior frames are a slightly different hue to the rest of the locket. Chain is a modern replacement. Evidence of repair to the chain terminal loops. Weight of locket 9.5gms. Locket stamped 15ct.
