An 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster pendant. The oval opal cabochon, within a brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround, suspended from a 9ct gold belcher-link chain, with trace-link chain extension. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for London, 1991 and Birmingham, 1990. Length of pendant 3cms. Length of chain 55cms. Total weight 11.6gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Belcher-link chain has a fine trace-link chain extension with additional clasp, may also be used as a safety chain for security. Opal translucent to near opaque creamy white, play-of-colour fairly even in distribution, from red through to violet. Opal in good condition with minor abrasion and nicks.
