An early 20th century gold opal and diamond pendant. The pear-shape opal drop, to the rose-cut diamond surmount and suspender. Length 3.4cms. Weight 2.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Opal likely replacement. The opal is translucent with a moderate play-of-colour predominately showing blues and some orange hues, with scratches scuffs and abrasion in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are fairly bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
