A late 1930s diamond cocktail ring. The platinum panel set with a circular-cut diamond, to the baguette-cut diamond circular-cut diamond sides, within a circular and single-cut diamond surmount, to the 9ct gold pierced gallery and plain platinum band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.60ct. Estimated total diamond weight of diamond surround 2cts. Weight 7.7gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The principal diamond is bright and lively. There is a chip to the edge of the diamond. Dark inclusions visible to the edge of the table facet. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Estimated dimensions of principal diamond: 5.5 by 5.5 by 3.3cms, collet-setting restrictions. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some possible replacement diamonds. Setting appear secure, however due to the age of the piece may benefit from attention. Signed Plat, numbered 16597. Ring size N 1/2.
